2500 Feet Range Wireless Driveway Alarm with Motion Sensorby Dakota AlertsAvailability: In Stock
|
We love this product, and so do our customers. The DCMA-2500, part of the Dakota 2500 series of driveway alarm products, pack a wallop with a 2500 feet wireless transmission range.
The transmitter (DCMT-2500) is small and easy to conceal. Light and easy to mount, it has a detection zone of about 50 feet. When heat and motion are detected, it will transmitt a wireless signal to the plug in receiver. The transmission range is up to 2,500. We say, "up to" because the local environment, construction materials, or other unknown factors may diminish the transmission range. The transmitter/sensor is powered by a 9-volt battery (not included).
The receiver (DCR-2500) plugs into a standard wall outlet and has buit in speaker. It plays up to four different tunes that you could allocate to a specific zone. For example, you could have three DCMT-2500 PIR sensors at different locations. Each sensor would be tied to a specific tune on the receiver so that you would know which sensor triggered the alert. You could also add a DCPT-2500 probe sensor that picks up metallic objects only and use the same receiver as the PIR sensors use.
The receiver also features four "C" relays and one 12 Volt DC output. The four c relays are known as "dry" outputs meaning they do not supply power and will only send an "on/off" signal. The live 12V-DC output allows you to add on accessories without having to supply a separate power supply to power the add on.
